The 2022 Castlegate Owners Association Annual Meeting is tonight.  The meeting will be held on the patio event space at The Yard at Caprock Crossing, 1551 Greens Prairie Rd West, College Station, TX 77845 (same place as last year).
Owner registration and voting will begin at 6:30 pm and the meeting will start at 7:00 pm. We will have guest speakers from the City of College Station at the meeting to talk about the Greens Prairie Road Widening Project.
There will be a drawing for door prizes during the meeting as well. You must be present to win, so please come out and join us!

National Night Out
The 2022 National Night Out will be Tuesday, October 5. From 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., neighbors
throughout our community and across the nation are asked to lock their doors, turn on their front
porch lights, and spend the evening outside with neighbors and law enforcement.
Along with the traditional outside lights and front porch vigils, most communities celebrate National
Night Out by hosting block parties, festivals, parades, cookouts, and other various community events
with safety demonstrations, seminars, youth events, visits from emergency personnel, exhibits, and
more.

If you are interested in organizing and hosting a ‘block party’ for your neighborhood in College
Station, please contact Officer Bill Snell with the College Station Police Department’s Community

The first day of school for CSISD is Wednesday, August 17th.  Due to the road expansion construction on Greens Prairie Road, the City of College Station posted a map of the school traffic area for everyone traveling on Greens Prairie Road near Forest Ridge Elementary School.  For parents of Forest Ridge Elementary students, the map shows the drop off and pick up access. School traffic into the parent drop-off driveway will be allowed from each direction, but traffic out of the school is only to the right .
You may want to consider an alternate route to avoid the traffic congestion during the first week or so of school.  For those that do use this area, please slow down, use extra caution and expect delays.
