Will hold their first annual March-A-Thon in Castlegate park and the surrounding streets

The College Station High School Cougar Band & Guard will hold their first annual March-A-Thon on  Saturday, August 19th from 9 – 11am.  They will step off from  Castlegate Park at 9:00am and parade down Ravenstone Loop and Rockcliffe Loop.  After a short water break, they will continue down Rockingham Loop and Kendal Green Loop. Please come out and watch our parade and cheer the band & guard on as we kick-off our biggest year to date. Our 215 members are preparing for our most ambitious marching production yet, “Scenes from a Garden”.  With your support we can meet our goal of advancing to State Marching contest this year!

For only $150, the band will stop in front of your house and play two songs of your choice (from our list).  We will recognize those who sponsor a mini-concert in our literature and announce their names before our first half-time performance of the year. Don’t live along the parade route?  NO PROBLEM!  We will play a mini-concert at Castlegate Park or at any other spot you designate on the parade route and recognize you as the sponsor! Feel free to go in with your friends and neighbors to sponsor a concert!

Residents are invited to walk or ride bikes/skateboards along with the parade!  We will have a bike decorating contest and give award three $25 gift cards to Bahama Bucks for 1) Positively Purpleist 2) Most Musical and 3) Cougar Pride! Winners will be announced at Castlegate Park at the end of the parade!

Thanks for your support of the Cougar Band & Guard!

UPDATE: American Flag at our entrance

UPDATE: Our American Flag is flying again! Thanks to our director, Jared and Nick that coordinates our annual Fishing tournament....they rented a lift today and repulled a new rope and have displayed our flag again. See the attached photo.

Wanted to update everyone on the insident that happend with our American Flag at the main entrance last weekend. Seems that someone cut the rope, removed the flag and a resident found it in the street with cars driving over it. The community thanks goes out to our neighbor Matt for retrieving the flag, folding it and dropping off at the management office. We have give this flag to Nick Romer to retire properly.

Please notify the College Station Police if you see any suspecious person/s around any of the community common areas including our flags at the main entrance.

Piyo Class

Starting January 31 we will be offering a PiYo class-Tuesday night at 5:45pm-6:45pm at the Castlegate II Community Center. This is a great way to build community and get to know some of your neighbors!

PiYo is an incredibly effective body-transformation program that combines Pilates and yoga-inspired moves, all set to a faster pace, so you get your strength, fexibility, and cardio all in each workout. PiYo delivers the long, lean muscles and flat, toned abs of Pilates, a firm butt and strong arms like you'd get from yoga, and the weight-loss benefits of fat-burning cardio. The movement pattern goes from longer (16 count) to shorter and faster (4 count). There is a lot of getting up and down from the floor to standing position. This program will work your core like no other and is great for athletes who want to stretch their hip flexors, IT Band, hamstrings, and lower back. It is great for folks who want to get in a great workout without  pounding on the joints. Classes are one hour  and are $8 per class. Sessions will run 8 weeks allowing for no class the week of Spring Break. There will be one free make up class in case you must miss a scheduled class. To register, please contact Mary Timoney at 979-428-5530 and she will get you all set up.

Mosquito Dunks

We will have mosquito dunks available starting the week of May 2, 2016 for residents to pick up. Please stop by office to pick up your bag Monday – Thursday between 9:00am – 4:00pm. We are located east of the Arrington Rd and Green Prairie.

4519 Mills Park Cr, Suite 200 College Station, TX 77845

Due to the public health concerns with Zika and West Nile, this year we will stock the mosquito dunks. The dunks can be broken in halves and used as well. It can take at least 2 to 3 weeks for a full mosquito dunk to dissolve, so using halves and dunking on a weekly basis will also help extend the use and number of the dunks.

Association Emails

Our office has received concerns from residents reporting they received notices of  violations via email from someone representing themselves as being with the Castlegate Owners Association and the management office. If you receive an email from any email address other than email it is not from the association or the management office.
Please notify our office if you receive an email from any other email address purporting to be representing the Association.

Thank you.
